Steps Through Time — Narrative Short Film
Tedrad: Steps Through Time is a high-concept narrative short that deconstructs the architecture of grief across four distinct visual chapters: Trapped, Escape, Reckoning, and Release.
Following the success of our previous production — which reached nearly 100,000 impressions in its debut month — this project leverages a proven distribution model and a strategic cross-channel collaboration.
We are seeking a dedicated crew to help elevate this visual poem for a global digital audience.
The film follows Nico through a series of repeating cycles and transformations. From a surreal, looping beach to the sensory overload of a city party, Tedrad uses evocative locations and a licensed soundtrack by NF ("Hope" & "Time") to explore how we move through loss.
This is a visual-first production with a focus on rhythmic editing and distinct color palettes for each chapter.
To lead the visual identity of four unique environments.
Crucial for capturing environmental textures and atmospheric soundscapes.
To manage the transition from "warm memory" to "cold reality."
To oversee the symbolic continuity of the four stages.
Experience with non-linear, music-driven narratives preferred.
Young male, 21–30. The lead character navigating grief through repeating cycles and transformations.
Young female, 21–30. A key presence in Nico's journey through loss and memory.
Full travel costs covered and professional catering/food provided on set.
Key crew will receive a percentage-based share (Points) of the film's lifetime YouTube AdSense revenue.
Dividends are issued monthly once an individual's accrued share reaches a £100 threshold.
High-resolution 4K/6K stills and clips provided for professional showreels.
A formal Memorandum of Understanding will be provided to all equity partners.
